SCCM R2 to SCCM R2 SP1 Primary site upgrade issues with sccm client.

HI All,

I am having issues while upgrading SCCM 2012 R2 Primary site to SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 with sccm client.

As suggested by Microsoft tech net article I had installed SP2 on SCCM 2012 R2. Installation was successfully. It upgraded to SCCM 2012 R2 SP1.

client version automatically updates to R2 SP1.(5.0.8239.1001) from 5.0.7958.1000. This automatically happens on Primary site and Remote DP and MP Site but not onCAS.

This happens at the following step in ConfigMgrSetup.log while upgrading.

After spending lot of hours I am unable to find why the client is upgrading to R2 SP1?

The sccm client which is installed on my primary site point to different site.
